Oleta Faye Statham Oleta Faye Statham, age 81 of Childress, died Thursday, April 3, 2014. April 5 at First Baptist Church in Childress with the Rev. She worked at Royal Park Sewing Factory, Lancer Mobile Homes and Watkins for many years.

She followed her husband from state to state and across half of Texas, from one construction job to the next, making a home and raising four children, two girls and two boys.

After her husbands retirement they moved to Mansfield to be near her brothers.

Interment followed at the Fairmount Cemetery under the direction of Harmon County Funeral Home of Hollis. Long was born in Hollis January 5, 1931 to William O. Attending Arnett School, Tillie graduated as valedictorian of her class in 1949. Bettye was born January 21, 1926 in Wellington to Jesse Grover and Willie Preston White Hunt. Dan was born October 18, 1928 near Wellington to John B. He grew up on the family farm in the Rolla community outside of Wellington before graduating from high school in 1946.
